UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY SITE OF THE MONTH FOR MAY 2022!

Here’s what the US Naval Academy had to say about Genesis 360’s work.

The Genesis 360 crew have executed an effective safety plan enabling them to remain accident, incident, and mishap free in May. The US Naval Academy (USNA) crew has established an efficient work plan that allowed them to accomplish multiple services in May including irrigation repairs, tree pruning, mulching, fertilization, and accommodating multiple service calls throughout the month. Naval Academy graduation pulls more than 20,000 visitors.  Despite large crowds, the USNA crew was able to execute all services in a timely and safe manner including resodding after the Herndon Monument climb.

GENESIS 360, LLC AWARDED $1.9 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT FROM THE ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS

Genesis 360 recently competitively bid and won a 1.9 million dollar federal contract from the Army Corps of Engineers. The work consists of clearing, degrading existing levee, driving sheet pile, plugging sand boil, placing embankment and surfacing material, turf establishment, and other incidental work at the New Roads Ferry Landing in New Roads, Louisiana.

Genesis 360 President, Craig Stevens stated “Genesis 360 is excited to work with the Army Corp of Engineers once again. We have become a house-hold name with the Army Corp of Engineers as well as other commercial and federal agencies due to our proven track record to complete projects ahead of schedule and under budget. We are also passionate about infrastructure and preserving our levees along the Mississippi.”

Stevens is an Opelousas, Louisiana native and the owner of Genesis 360. After 25 years of service in the US Air Force serving in the 93rd Bomb Squadron, Stevens retired as a Captain and started Genesis 360, LLC in 2011. In 2017, Genesis 360 received its 8(a) certification and Veteran Owned certification from the Small Business Administration. Craig has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and is also a graduate of Leadership Ascension and New Orleans Emerging Leaders. Genesis 360 is a proud supporter of the community and Stevens currently serves or has served on the board for the Baton Rouge Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club, Dream Teachers, BREC, BR Home Builders Association, Ascension Chamber, Better Business Bureau, and LABI. Genesis 360 has been selected as 2022 Small Business of the Year by Baton Rouge Business Report, and Stevens has been selected as 2022 SBA Business Person of the Year.

He is also a Rotarian and member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

ABOUT GENESIS 360: The mission of Genesis 360 is to put its track record of excellence to work for its federal and commercial clients, allowing them to focus on their core business. As a one-stop shop for construction, grounds maintenance and building maintenance, IT Services, Genesis 360 serves organizations across the United States. Currently Genesis 360 has offices in downtown Baton Rouge, Houston, and Maryland.

Genesis 360 operates focused on its core values: Integrity first, Service before elf and Excellence in all it does.

Revolutionizing the Customer Experience

“This company is becoming the Amazon of maintenance, construction and IT,” Stevens says. “Businesses need to look no further than Genesis 360.”

GENESIS 360 is rapidly becoming the first thing that springs to the minds of local business owners. Founded by Opelousas native Craig Stevens, Genesis 360 provides a single contact for all the construction, ground maintenance, building maintenance, and IT-related services any business needs.

Built on a foundation of reliable, responsive service, the company enables businesses to focus on their core services, while Genesis 360 handles the rest. Rather than using valuable time and resources dealing with multiple vendors, businesses can rely on Genesis 360 to single-handedly manage and provide all services.

“From a management perspective, a business tells us what their pain stake is, and we take it from there, so they’re not having to call the lawn guy, the roofer and the IT person,” Stevens says. “We want a business to instinctively think, ‘I know who to call—Genesis can take care of all that for me.’”

With commercial and federal contracts, Genesis 360 works across the U.S. with offices in Baton Rouge, Houston, Galveston and, recently, Virginia and Maryland. But Stevens wants to build the company in his home state, where he returned after a 25-year military career.

“We’re a household name for many businesses and federal agencies outside of Louisiana, but I want to do more work in my own back yard,” he says.

Since its establishment in 2011, Genesis 360 has experienced phenomenal growth. In 2020, the company doubled its previous year’s revenue and, in 2021, it grew another 30 percent. Illustrating a growing presence in Louisiana, Genesis 360 was recognized as “company of the year” with fewer than 100 employees at the 2022 Baton Rouge Business Awards.

Stevens has plans to grow Genesis 360 to a multi-billion-dollar company within 10 years by continuing to revolutionize the construction, maintenance and IT industry, just as Amazon did with e-commerce. Stevens also is focused on how the company can have an impact on customers, employees and societal issues such as childhood hunger, human trafficking and reducing the divorce rate, which ultimately will reduce crime.

“We’re consistently thinking about how we revolutionize the customer’s experience and how we make sure our employees feel they’re part of a culture they can be proud of,” he says. “At the same time, we want to make a difference in the world and leave the world a better place. Addressing these problems starts in my own back yard but has an impact on the world.”
